Description

If your event requires a permit then you should fill out a Special Events Permit and submit it to the UC Berkeley Fire Prevention Division at least 10 days prior to the event so an inspection can be arranged. A Deputy Fire Marshal will review plans for set-up and/or inspect the event facilities before the event to determine compliance with these requirements. In the event fire and life safety violations are found, the responsible person will be given one opportunity for compliance. Failure to adhere to these requirements may result in closure of the event. It shall be the responsibility of the organization holding the event to ensure vendors are aware of these regulations.
