Description

The EH&S Wastewater Quality program assists campus in preventing water pollution and provides compliance assistance to campus on East Bay Municipal Utility District Ordinance 311 and the campus wastewater discharge permit. Program activities include sampling and analyzing wastewater, reporting, responding to spills into the sanitary sewer, developing regulatory programs and developing drain disposal guidelines under the guidance of the Environmental Management Committee.
